New Honda City 2020 In India What’s New?

The current generation of the Honda City is already large in size and Honda’s inclination towards their philosophy ” Man maximum, machine minimum” is clearly visible. The upcoming new Honda City 2020 will be bigger in size as compared to the current generation. Increase in dimensions will translate into more legroom and cabin space.

Upcoming new Honda City 2020 will receive major revamp in exterior and interior design.  Petrol powertrain doing its duty on the current generation Honda City is a 1.5L motor mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. This motor churns out 121PS of power and returns a mileage of 17.8 kmpl. The legendary L15B engine will be updated with a new hybrid powertrain generating more power and better mileage. Increased mileage of the Upcoming new Honda City 2020 can come close to the mileage of Maruti Suzuki Nexa Ciaz at 21.5 kmpl. On the other hand, Honda will work on its diesel motor to comply it with the BS-VI emission norms. Furthermore, diesel CVT transmission option will be there to choose from.

Honda will also introduce the next-generation of Honda Jazz. It might get a similar 1.5L mild-hybrid petrol engine as the Upcoming new Honda City 2020. In conclusion, Honda is ready to introduce new generations of its existing cars like Honda City, Jazz and Brio in the year 2019 and revamp its lineup. However, the most awaited car coming to India by Honda is the Honda Civic 2019.
