Finally, Royal Enfield has launched the Classic 350 Gun Metal Grey ABS variant at price Rs. 1.80 Lakh. Royal Enfield Classic series is persistently receiving the ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) equipment. Classic 350 is the most popular series in the portfolio of RE.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Metal Grey gets the same brakes setup as the Classic 350 Signals Edition. It a dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and hence it works with both the front and the rear brakes. ABS prevents brakes from locking up when they are suddenly applied on a slippery road. The front brakes get a 280mm disc with double-piston calliper setup while the rear brakes get a 240mm disc with single-piston calliper. Apart from this, there are no other changes made to the Classic 350 Gun Metal Grey.
Most noteworthy, new safety norms (Bharat NCAP) are going to be implemented by April 2019. To comply with these norms, all the motorcycles above 125cc must be equipped with ABS and the motorcycles below 125cc must be equipped with CBS (Combined Braking System). Consequently to follow-up the norms, Royal Enfield is expanding the ABS equipment in their whole lineup.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 is powered by the same Single-Cylinder Four-Stroke engine which is air-cooled. This is a carburetted engine which produces 19.8 bhp @ 5250 rpm and 28 Nm of torque @ 4000 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield Classic 350 will soon receive more colour options.
