Nisan India revealed India-bound Nissan Kicks SUV on October 18, 2018. It will stand above the Nissan Terrano in Nissan India’s portfolio and compete the Hyundai Creta. It is bigger in dimensions as compared to the global model but except that it is almost identical to the international version. Today, Nissan India revealed the exteriors only and soon reveal the interiors as well.
Nissan Kicks SUV Details:
India-bound Nissan Kicks SUV is wider and longer than the global kicks. Even more, it is taller and has a longer wheelbase. It is 4.4 meters long which is 0.1 meters more than the global model. The length is 4384 mm, width 1813 mm, height is 1656 mm and the wheelbase is 2673 mm.
The platform that the new Nissan Kicks sits on is the latest version of BO platform by the Renault. This platform currently does its duty on the Renault Capture, Duster and the Terrano.
Nissan India has not revealed the specifications of the new Nissan Kicks SUV. It is almost expected to be powered by the 1.5L K4K petrol engine which churns out 106 PS of power and 142 Nm of torque and the 1.5L K9K diesel engine which churns out 110 PS of power and 240 Nm of torque. Transmission options will be 5-speed manual and CVT for the petrol engine and 6-speed manual for the diesel engine.
Nissan Kicks SUV is designed in a way that neither shouts nor understates but attracts all. The exteriors include LED projector headlamps, a lot of side cladding and a floating roof design with the help of blackened A, B and C pillars. Dual colour shade, sharp body creases, 17-inch wheels and roof-rails are also the parts of impressive styling.
On the interior front, it will get an 8-inch infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Likewise, the industry standard features will also be the part of the New Nissan Kicks SUV. Furthermore, it has GRAPHENE (Gravity-philic Energy Absorption) body structure which Nissan claims to be safer, stronger and durable for Indian road conditions.
