New Ford Aspire Facelift 2018 – What’s new?
With the Ford Aspire facelift, Ford India revived the outdating Ford Figo Aspire by cosmetic changes, mechanical changes, a new infotainment system and providing basic safety features as standard. The changes on the Ford Aspire’s interiors and exteriors come directly from the Ford Freestyle. It gets the similar front grill and the same 6.5-inch Ford’s SYNC 3 touchscreen infotainment system. Rear seat occupants now get adjustable head restraints.
Safety kit includes ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, parking sensors and a reminder for seatbelts as standard. Top-spec Titanium+ gets extra four airbags and emergency assistance from Ford’s SYNC 3. The automatic variant gets ESP, traction control and hill-start assist as standard.

The 1.5L Aspire diesel mileage is up by 0.27 km/L at 26.1 km/L due to the tweaked engine and transmission combo. Both powertrains are now combined with a new and better 5-speed manual transmission. Ford claims that this manual transmission requires 40% lesser transmission oil as compared to the older one. More on the mechanical upfront, it now gets bigger 195/55 R15 section tyres and they are perfect.
