Mercedes-Benz is all set to launch the V-Class Marco Polo Camper on February 6 at the National Auto Expo 2020. The Mercedes-Benz V-Class is the only luxury MPV currently on sale in India. The Marco Polo Camper edition will be based on the same V-Class offering wide luxury options.
Mercedes-Benz markets this new addition in its lineup as “Smart Home on Wheels”. Globally, the Marco Polo Camper variant of the Mercedes-Benz V-Class is already on sale and it gets some legit purposeful equipment for its prospective customers. It has front seats with swivel movement and rear seats which can be folded into a bed. There is a kitchen set up with one large and two smaller self-closing drawers and a large storage compartment with a sliding door. Equipment list includes a sink, a gas cooker with two burners and a refrigerator. While the technology pieces of equipment would end up hoisting an extensive list. It is a car renowned in the world for its luxury, technology equipment, safety and comfort offerings.
The Mercedes-Benz V-Class currently on sale in India gets only one engine option. It is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel motor which produces 161 BHP and 380 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The upcoming V-Class Marco Polo Camper will also be powered by the same engine and transmission combination.
Mercedes-Benz V-Class received a wide-spread customer base in India. The affirmative interest from the country has led the Mercedes-Benz to introduce the Marco Polo Camper edition of the V-Class. Alongside, Mercedes-Benz will also launch the AMG GT 4-door, the A-Class limousine and the GLA SUV on February 6 at the National Auto Expo 2020. It is remarkable that Mercedes-Benz is the only luxury car manufacturer participating in the National Auto Expo 2020 and that too with some promising products for the country.
