Mahindra XUV300 is a big bet from Mahindra. There is no denying the fact that it is a well-calculated bet from Mahindra. Pricing is the only part which is currently unknown and except that most of the information is now public. Mahindra XUV300 W4 –
W4 which is the base model of the Mahindra XUV300 lineup gets decent standard safety features. The safety kit includes ABS with EBD, disc brakes on all four wheels, two airbags and ISOFIX child-seat mounts. Do not forget the three height adjustable head restraints and the proper seatbelt for the middle occupant of the rear seat. Moreover, the W4 variant of the XUV 300 gets 3.5-inch infotainment system with four speakers, electronically adjustable ORVMs, multi-mode steering wheel and 16-inch steel wheels.
Mahindra XUV300 W6 –
Including the features of XUV 300 W4, Mahindra XUV 300 W6 gets additional features such as keyless entry, steering mounted controls. The exterior gets black roof rails, upper and lower grill in silver colour and a rear spoiler.
Mahindra XUV300 W8 –
The top-end Mahindra XUV300 W8 variant gets dual-zone climate control for the front seats. For entertainment, the XUV 300 gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with built-in navigation and support for Android Auto and Apple Carplay. It also gets a reverse camera with adaptive guidelines to aid parking. Additional safety features include ESP and hill-hold assist. More convenience features available on the Mahindra XUV300 are LED DRL with projector headlamps, automatic wipers & headlamps, heated ORVMs, mood lighting and cruise control. Also, 17-inch alloy wheels will perform their duty on the XUV 300 W8 variant.
Mahindra XUV300 W8(O) –
The top-spec W8(O) variant gets 7-airbags, TMPS, Auto-dimming IRVM, sunroof and 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. Above all, a unique feature available on the W8(O) variant is the parking sensors at the front.
Mahindra XUV 300 will directly compete with Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport and Tata Nexon. Therefore, the pricing of the XUV 300 will play the key role in how it performs in the compact SUV segment. The pricing seems to start from INR 7 lakh and the top variant may cost around INR 11 lakh.
