Hyundai has launched the Grand i10 CNG at price INR. 6.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and it is available in the Magna variant only. Hyundai already offers CNG fuel option in it’s Xcent Prime and Santro. However, only the fleet operators can purchase Xcent Prime. Grand i10 itself generates good sales volumes for the Hyundai. Now, the introduction of CNG fuel option will definitely increase the numbers.
Hyundai Grand i10 CNG is available to purchase for private customers as well and it is priced INR. 67000/- premium counterpart the standard petrol variant. But, the benefits of owning the company-fitted CNG kit vehicle is worth the premium price. Also, CNG vehicles are exempted from strict rules from the Supreme Court. Moreover, the CNG variant of a vehicle is the most fuel-efficient counterpart the petrol and diesel variant.
Grand i10 CNG is available in the Magna variant only. This translates into a cut in the equipment list for what Hyundai is famous for. However, it gets the job done really well.

Hyundai Grand i10 gets the 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol motor which churns out 83PS of power and 110Nm of torque. On CNG fuel, this petrol motor churns out 67PS of power and 98Nm of torque. It is available with the 5-speed manual transmission option only. Hyundai Grand i10 CNG fuel tank capacity is 60 litres while petrol tank capacity is 43 litres. Moreover, the customer has a warranty of 3,00,000km/3Years which aftermarket fitting misses out on.
Santro was the only option for private buyers in the Hyundai lineup before the introduction of the Grand i10 CNG. Hyundai Grand i10 directly competes with Ford Figo and Maruti Suzuki Swift. However, Swift and are available in petrol and diesel fuel options only. Grand i10 has its clear advantage of CNG fuel option.
