Bajaj Avenger 160 Street is now launched and the price starts from Rs. 82,253/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Bajaj Avenger bike gets a new 160cc engine and ABS. It replaces the Avenger 180 which was costlier by Rs. 6000 than the Avenger 160 ABS.
Cosmetic updates on the new Avenger 160 Street ABS are vital to make the bike look fresh. Headlamp on the new Avenger 160 ABS is oval in shape with DRL inside it to complement the retro look of this Cruiser bike. Also, there is a short wind deflector on the top of the headlamps. Taillamp of the Avenger 160 ABS Street is all LED. Also, This new Bajaj Avenger bike is available in two colours – Ebony Black and Spicy Red. The only missing part is the absence of digital instrument cluster from the Avenger 220 Street.
While the New Bajaj Avenger 160 Street sees a reduction in cubic capacity as compared to the Avenger 180, the power figures are identical. It produces 16PS of power and 13.5 Nm of torque from the new 160cc air-cooled motor. A 5-speed transmission is paired to this engine. Ground clearance of the Avenger 160 Street is 177mm and the weight is 150kg which is identical to the Avenger 180. Fuel tank capacity of the Avenger 160 is 13-litres. Mileage of the Bajaj Avenger 160 will be around 40 kmpl to 50 kmpl.
